2014-15 Winter Sports Wrap-Up


ECC MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING:  The Conference tournament was held January 30 at Milford High School, with the Loveland Tigers capturing the team title with 272 points.  Glen Este was runner-up with 167 points, while Nagel placed third with 130.5.  Individual champions included Milford's Max Ward (80 lbs.), Milford's Adam Anderson (86 lbs.), Loveland's Ian Inabnitt (92 lbs.), Loveland's Jacob Klopfenstein (98 lbs.), Loveland's Liam Hamill (104 lbs.), Loveland's Blake Poteet (110 lbs.), Loveland's Colin Durham (116 lbs.), Loveland's Cooper Smeller (122 lbs.), Nagel's Carlos Fernandez (128 lbs.), Glen Este's Mitchell Gibson (134 lbs.), Loveland's Drew Vanderhorst (142 lbs.), Glen Este's Joe Wahl (150 lbs.), Milford's Will Morton (160 lbs.), Glen Este's Max Beckman (172 lbs.), Nagel's Nate Crawford (205 lbs.), and Loveland's Cameron Ringel (245 lbs.).   Get complete results HERE.

ECC MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS' BASKETBALL:  The eighth grade girls' basketball Conference tournament champions are the Kings Lady Knights!  They downed Loveland on February 11 in the title game.  The seventh grade championship went to Walnut Hills, pictured below, who defeated Kings on February 12 to finish the season undefeated.

ECC MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL:  The boys' seventh grade basketball Conference tournament title game was an exciting overtime thriller, with Loveland defeating Milford on February 11.  Milford downed Nagel Blue to capture the eighth grade championship in a game played February 12.
